The Norway national football team has made it to three world cups and one European championship. In a strange quirk Norway are the only team never to have lost a match against Brazil. Their record stands at two wins and two draws, including a win during the 1998 world cup.
In comparison to their Scandinavian neighbours Norway have a weaker record on the international stage. Their first international was against Sweden in 1908. It was a difficult start as the side lost 11-3. This wasn’t their biggest loss however. This dates back to 1917, a 12-0 loss to Denmark. Norway’s biggest win was also by 12 goals to nil. This came against Finland in 1946.
