The Oceania Football Confederation is made up of 14 member nation football teams. 11 teams in the confederation are affiliated to FIFA. Kiribati, Niue and Tuvalu are associate members of the Confederation but have not joined FIFA. For the world cup 2018, 11 teams will compete for a place in the inter-continental play-off against a team from North or Central America. Oceania is yet to produce a world cup winner, or even host the competition. New Zealand are by far the most successful current member.
